The Wedding day!

Okay, so a little about Olivia. This girl has been in my life since, well, forever. She has always been the sweetest, kindest, giggliest (is that a word?), cutest friend. We graduated together a year ago from high school, which really freeeaks me out. Look at her, all grown up and getting herself a hubby! I'm so proud (tear). But for reals, this girl is amazing! I shed a few tears in the church foyer before her reception (shh.. dont tell). LOVE her and wish her the utmost happiness in her life.

Olivia Boyes

This is Livv.

Her hair was a hoot to do! Boy does this chick have HAIR! 2 and a half hours later her beautiful dark locks were perfectly placed. Just a trial run though, stay tuned for the actual wedding day, this Friday, July 15th.

Yes, this is my family in the background, chillin in the kitchen like no ones business.

Backyard Bliss

So this weekend I had the privilege to be the hair stylist at my Mother's best friends wedding. I unfortunately did not get a good shot of the brides hair (Terry) but here are some photos of the wedding anyway! Backyard, garden themed.

Strangely enough my Mother was a bridesmaid (on the right)! I did their hair as well.

Payne Wedding

This is my favorite part of the wedding day. Watching the Bride in the morning getting herself ready, nervously anticipating the days events. The morning started out bright and early at 6:00 AM but it couldn't have been a better day!

Although I can not take ANY credit for this ladies beauty on this day (or any day for that matter).

Now we are through the past and getting to the present day events.
This is Mikenlee. She is such a doll! and whats more, she is getting married in exactly 1 week! I am absolutely thrilled for her. We did a little trial run for her hair a few weeks ago, she is going to go with the loose glamour curls, which goes perfectly with her veil!

Mariage Deux

Katie is one of the sweetest people I know. and just LOOK at her! She is so naturally beautiful. I felt so honored when she asked me to do her hair for her wedding pictures.

Parfaire! The wedding day went as smooth as peanut butter (I've been on a real PB kick as of late). She looked absolutely glamorous in her gown! I will post wedding pictures if I can get a hold of any, I was one of her bridesmaids as well, so you'd think I'd have some?

"Do I actually have to smile for these pictures?", "No, I'm just shooting the hair." haha

Messy Elegance

What the Bry?! Yes, another cause to celebrate the B-ran - her wedding!

This was a "loose curly bun/braid, with a twist ". A little too loose for my taste, good thing it was just a trial run. So on the actual wedding day the style turned out just the way I wanted, a little more curl, and a few less fly aways! (post to follow)

Simply Sisters

This is Katie. Isn't she the prettiest thing you've ever seen? Although she is my sister only by law, we were born to be sisters anyway. Love you Catherine!

Her hair was the funnest to do! The styling was done in a stuffy attic room, with her giggly bridesmaids entering in and out. The style itself was perfect for this little outdoor Portland wedding reception.

Graduation 2009

These lovely ladies are good friends of mine. Grad was the first real occasion that I styled hair for, I was so nervous (I was only 16 at the time)
